Competition Rules
++General RulesTastiest is the winningest
3 competitors per round 3 judges will evaluate the coffees blind
5 minute prep time, 3 minutes to brew(taking longer than the allotted time will result in disqualification)
Brew one drink with 2dl of volume to be poured into the provided cup
One winner from each round advances
++Competition CoffeeLos Pinos, Honduras. Catuai roasted by Koppi 
One bag of the competition coffee will be provided by Koppi to all registered competitors prior to the event for training purposes. The same coffee will also be provided at the event for all competitors to use.
++EquipmentHot water boilers, grinders, AeroPresses and filters will be provided.
You are also free to use your own scales and timers. 
Competitors are welcome to bring their own grinders and/or AeroPress. Any modifications to the actual AeroPress will need to be authorized by the Head Judge and if need be, Alan Adler himself.
++WaterFiltered Helsingborg waterwill be used in the provided boilers. Competitors may bring their own water to be heated in an separate kettle if they choose.
++Rounds
There will be 6 rounds of 3 competitors for the preliminary rounds. 1 winner from each round will go through to the semi-finals. There will be 2 semi-finals with 3 competitors in each round. The 2 winners will go head to head in the final round. The running list of competitors will be selected at random and will be announced soon.
After each round, competitors must use the judging time to clear their station ready for the next round of competitors.
